For the 2022 model year, the Volkswagen Jetta has been revamped with a new engine, revised exterior, a new Sport trim, and better inside technology in an inexpensive package. The basic variant of the 2022 Jetta has the same 1.5-liter engine as the Taos small SUV, which produces 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.
